Easter Sunday - April 4, 2010
It is with deep sadness we share the news that Tim's cancer finally made it's big move. An MRI scan last Wednesday confirmed that the tumors have spread throughout his brain.

As his family, we feeel very fortunate to have him here at home where we, along with the support and help of an amazing Hospice team, can care for him during this, his final stage.

Please know how very much we care about each of you and appreciate your love, support and prayers. At this time, however, we ask that you respect our privacy as we go through this very difficult time. Comments on the blog are most welcome.

THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS!

Sweet Celebration

March 9, 2010
What a milestone! Two years ago on this day Tim had is first seizure while skiing at Alta with family and friends. His brain cancer diagnosis came soon afterwards and did nothing short of turning his life upside down. And not just any brain cancer, but Stage IV Glioblastoma Multiforme, which is the deadliest and most aggressive form of brain cancer (average life expectancy = 13 months). Not good odds. But for everyone one who knows Tim Paine, great things were expected regardless of this horrible roadblock. And he did not dissappoint. Rather, he battled and braved his way through many difficult, painful and life-changing storms! And on Tuesday... he proudly celebrated "2 years" with dear loved ones and avid supporters, who believed in him and cheered him on every step of the way.

We are truly grateful to all of you who have participated in Tim's journey and fight. He will agree it's been a team effort and something he could not have done alone. We so appreciate the love and support and the way that you strengthened and carried us through the most difficult of times! Enjoy the photos from his party and a big THANK YOU to all of you who came to celebrate with him. It was a very special moment.
